Lemon Basil Chicken Tenders



  • 1 cup seasoned “breadcrumbs
  • 1 lb organic chicken tenders
  • 4 Tbsp ghee, grassfed butter, lard, or avocado oil
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 basil leaves, finely chopped


Melt the ghee over medium-high heat in a skillet.

Dip the chicken into the egg and then in the breadcrumbs.

Cook the chicken in the ghee for three minutes on each side.

Put on a plate and sprinkle with lemon juice and fresh basil
